Established as a nursery school in 1950, Duke Memorial Weekday School now enrolls more than 160 children, ages 2 to 5, and is staffed by a paid faculty.
Our emphasis is on building self-confidence and establishing an atmosphere of love, support and security. Admission is open to all children, regardless of race, gender or religious affiliation. Please call us at 919- 688-5130 if you have questions or would like to schedule a tour.

2009-10 Registration Update
January 26-27, 2009: Parent conferences. Parents will receive applications for the 2009-10 school year at this time for all currently enrolled students. Please come by the office for applications for siblings.
January 28 - 30, 2009: Enrollment for existing students and siblings.
February 2- 3, 2009: Enrollment for church members and alumni.
February 5, 2009: Lottery for the general public at 10 a.m.
Tuition rates (2008-09)
Tuition is based on the child's age and number of days attended:
- 2 days/week: $161 per month
- 3 days/week: $186 per month
- 4 days/week: $213 per month
- 5 days/week (3-year-olds): $237 per month
- 5 days/week (4-year-olds): $239 per month
- Kindergarten: $292 per month
Registration fees
There is a nonrefundable registration fee of $85 for all new students. Returning students and church members pay a nonrefundable $75 registration fee. Also, one month’s tuition is due upon registration for all students; this is simply an early payment of May 2009 tuition for the following year and is also nonrefundable.
